I just wanted to say thank you to those who took the time to comment and warn others about this co. I am also impressed with Tina (free stuff finder) being so prompt to reply and offer help. I am always weary of deals like this but have found other great sales on this site. I was skeptical at first but after getting a really good deal on Osh Kosh Bgosh clothes for my daughter I regularly check this site for deals. Thanks!
Awww, thank you for the kind words Amie!
I signed up for this when you post it but I’m having problems to cancel my subscription. Could you please send me the link so I can do it otherwise they will charge me for it. Thank you!
Hi Vanessa. You can find their contact information here: https://www.earlymoments.com/contact-us/. Hope that helps. 🙂
Hey everyone! I figured out the phone # by guessing! it’s 1(800) 353-3140 if anyone needs it! xo
Thanks so much for sharing. I really appreciate it. 🙂
I can’t find a phone number to cancel this subscription. I see that they’ve already charged me the initial 4.99 for the free bundle. Can someone please share their number. I’m pretty sure they deliberately make it difficult to reach them. 🙁 please help!
How do you cancel?
Hey Sherry. I would contact their customer service if you want to cancel. 🙂
would you happen to know the customer service number? I can’t seem to track it down. 🙁
Hey. You should be able to reach them here: 1-800-353-314
Thank you. The phone number is missing a last digit. I tried googling with the number you provided to try to figure out the missing number but couldn’t find it! Thanks again for your help
Also: When I called about my refund, I mentioned I just wanted the free trial and the rep said something along the lines of, “This is a book subscription. There is no free trial. I don’t know where you heard that.”
read the company reviews first..i hate this company it keep taking out $20 twice amonth in my checking..i already canceled l after i noticed..still watching my bank if they still charging me..
Hey Monica. I’m so sorry you’re having trouble with them. Have you contacted their customer service to see why you’re still being charged?
Here is my experience with this company…
If you’re ONLY interested in that “One-Time” “No-Obligation-$4.99-Deal” and do not want any further charges, you must diligently cancel in a matter of days after you sign up and that is no joke!
Otherwise they will charge you $20 for another shipment as soon as they possibly can (this means within 1-2 weeks and even in the same billing month of sign up). They will refuse to cancel the current charge even if the books haven’t even shipped yet. This probably explains why this company has 60 complaints and counting with the Better Business Bureau. [Note: Early Moments also runs under the alias of SVK EV.]
When the ‘service rep’ refused to cancel the second pending transaction for books that hadn’t even shipped yet, I mentioned that this is why they have a lousy rating with the BBB and he had the audacity to reply, ‘we have an excellent rating’ .. in turn I said “I’m on the site right now and it’s clearly NOT an “A” rating by any stretch”. Right there this guy is caught on the spot, falsely asserting information and he had no response to what I called them out on!!!
Based on my experience and the 60 other people who went so far as to even file a formal complaint with the BBB …which is a laborious process by the way, I do not recommend Early Moments “no-obligation-money-back-guarantee-club”. I can say with the utmost confidence that there are better deals all over the place with far more reputable individuals/companies that do not make the bulk of their cash by swindling customers with teeny fine print that stands in the shadow of banner sized promises of “one time only, no obligation” crap.
If you should decide to go ahead with this company, make sure you read every word of fine print and make sure your credit card is prepped up and ready to be charged by them as soon and frequently as possible. Good luck.
Oh no. Sorry you had that experience. Thanks for sharing. I’ll have to look into this more. 🙂
I had the same experience. The books are great and all, but you’re better off buying them in store. I got charged for the second batch of books within 2-3 weeks of receiving the first and didn’t get a chance to cancel yet. Then they sent me a third around the time I was about to call them to cancel. It took a couple months for them to finally receive and process the books I sent back in order to receive my refund. Too much hassle!
Hey Em. I’m so sorry that you had trouble with them. I’m glad you were able to get it sorted out though. 🙂
I didnt read this and just paid for the free books. How do you cancel without a member number or would i have to wait to get the shipment. Please help.
Hey Sherry. I would contact them and see if you can cancel or at least get the books for free. 🙂
What happen if you were a member before? Am I able to do it again?
Hey Nina. I’m not sure if you can or not. I guess all you can do is try. 🙂
So do you get to keep the books even if you cancel the subscription?
Yes.
