Holiday Clearance at CVS have hit 90% as of last night! Now, this includes non-food holiday items. Food holiday items are still at 75% off.
If you go to your store and the holiday stuff are still scanning at 75% off, ask a manager about it. Every store need to manually activate the clearance in their computers and may do so at different times. That’s what happened to me this morning, everything was ringing at 75% off, I asked, and the manager came back a few minutes later, “You’re right. All holiday stuff are 90% off. I got a memo yesterday but didn’t see it until you asked me to check.”
As with all clearance finds, every store will have different selection, especially if there are many other deal hunters in your area. I just up one store this year (instead of going crazy to multiple stores last year) lol, so my list isn’t complete. But here are some ideas on what to look for:
- Obvious holiday stuff – decorations, wrapping paper
- Cosmetic Gift Sets – Some gift sets, even in the regular section are ringing at 90% off. This will vary. I’ve seen, makeup, brush sets.
- Novelty Gift Items & Electronics – Headphones, chargers, speakers, disney character waffle makers, massagers, etc. I even saw Watches, Fitness tracker.
- Misc Holiday Themed Items & Toys – Remote control cars, small figurines, etc. You’ll want to price check to find these items.
Here are some highlights of what I scored, just as an example:
- Headphones $0.99 (Reg $9.99)
- Disney Character Activity Tube – $0.59 (Reg $5.99)
- Glitter Tape – $0.29
- Frozen Gift Bags – $0.39
- Charlie Brown Christmas Free – $1.29 (Reg $12.99) – I found this in the baby section above diapers
