I do know they do not price match and do gift card. I know I’ve seen it before on their website about price matching and promotions. Maybe the cashier didn’t know but I’ve tried it with other things at different locations and they all say the same thing.

I went to 3 different Targets until one of them price matched and gave me the gift card… It was a hassle but it worked.. They say they can’t do it but the can all they need is a manager to overwrite the price… The gift card promotion automatically comes up once they scan the apple watch.

Well, actually… Target can PM, but they will NOT give the $100 GC. They said they can do one or the other, but not both. “It’s against policy.” I called two Targets and I also asked one of my friends who has a sister who works at Target. Cindy got lucky! 🙂
Hi Amy. I don’t see anything addressing this issue in their price match policy. I think it will depend on the store as to whether of not you can get it. 🙂
Hi, Tina. Thank you for replying… It’s really cool what you do here. It’s really fun to see all the deals you find. I ended up ordering the Apple Watch from Best Buy. I was able to find the “exclusions” part in Target’s price matching policy (something I was hoping I would NOT find =P) Unfortunately, it says GCs are excluded. https://corporate.target.com/about/shopping-experience/shop-with-confidence Anyway, thanks again for posting this sale. I ordered one for my BFF’s Christmas present… and one for myself too 😉
