Tina, I have a question. Target does not give cash back for money makers. But… what if I “buy” a gift card? Like just for example let’s say I buy 5 items that each cost $1 but I have 5 coupons for $2 off. That would be free + $5 money maker… can I add a $5 gift card to my order to get that for free?
Hey Cassandra. Some stores will allow you to use your overage towards other purchases, while other stores will adjust the coupon down to the sales price of the item. I usually buy other items to absorb the overage of the coupon. All you can do is try and see what happens. 🙂

Math is wrong here. I did this deal yesterday, the CW brings these guys down to 5.95 so the coupon makes them .95 each. Still a great deal, but not free or a moneymaker.
