A CVS cashier got the best of me today. She told me that I had to buy four Mentos because with the sale I was getting one free each time I purchased one. I told her no she was looking at it the wrong way. She said no and tried explaining it to me and I explained my way to her. I didn’t know how to make her understand. I told her that it was all over the internet that these are free after the coupon and she told me everyone was doing it wrong. I told her thanks but no thanks and walked off, went down to another CVS where I got them all free. Grrrr at least some cashiers are educated, but think of those who she gave wrong info to.
Hi Jennifer! Oh no! 🙁 What I would do in stores is google “CVS Coupon Policy” and find the policy from cvs.com and then show it to the cashier. In this case, the CVS policy is here: https://www.cvs.com/bizcontent/general/help/coupon-policy.pdf
Specifically it says:
“Suave shampoo is on sale for $2.00 BOGO and customer has a mfr. coupon for
Suave BOGO. Customer will receive both items for free but will need to pay any
applicable tax.”
