Before the sample came around, I had not ever heard of Honey Crystals. I like my honey in a cute little mason jar fresh from the honey farm. So when I got my sample, I was not sure what to do with it. One of the best things I found on the internet was Honey covered Almonds made with the honey crystals.
The great thing about this is you can add as little or a whole bunch of honey. I like a hint of honey rather than feeling like I am licking the whole hive!
Here’s the recipe and what you need:
- One cookie sheet lined with parchment or foil that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
- Two cups of almonds
- 1/4 cup honey crystals (feel free to use less)
- 2 tablespoons of honey
Melt the butter in a bowl and then immediately pour over nuts. Lightly toss nuts in butter then sprinkle honey crystals over the top and cool.
