Cheap Deals at CVS (Week 9/29)
Sorry for the delay. I had done my CVS shopping for the week on Monday, but have been so caught up with the Target Free Accessories Deal that I just got around to uploading this photo and doing the breakdown below. This week's sale ends on Saturday, October 5th.
Breakdowns for CVS is tricky and can be hard to replicate, since every cvs card generates different coupons for additional savings. I recommend scanning your card at the red machine whenever you go to the store. Keep scanning until the machine stops spitting our coupons. I refer to this as the RedBox in the rest of this post.
Here's a list of sales item I took advantage of in this week's shopping trip (for detailed breakdown for my transactions, go to the very bottom of this post).

$1.50 off ONE Pampers Baby Dry Diapers
$1.50 off ONE Pampers Cruisers Diapers
For more Diaper and Baby coupons for this month, check out the list here.
CVS Coupons Used:
CVS coupons are tricky in that there are a large variety of coupons and everyone gets different coupons. There are also several different places to get coupons: at the redbox machine, via email, via printable coupons on cvs.com, or from CVS flyers. Here's a quick list of coupons I used in these transactions. Not everyone got the same coupons. Additionally, your CVS may accept expired coupons like mine for additional savings.
Save $5 when you buy $35 of Baby Items
Save $5 when you buy $30 Baby
$3 Extrabucks via email
Save $3 when you buy $15 in cold and flu medication
Save $1 on one Skinny Cow chocolate bar
Save $5 on purchase of $20 or more
Breakdown by Transactions:
Again, everyone's transaction will vary, because we have different coupons and different Extrabucks. But for sake of example, here are some of my transactions. I did 8 transactions in total over several days and on two cards.
Some couponers has the philosophy to keep rolling their ecbs (Extrabucks) with as little OOP (out of pocket expenses) as possible. My philosophy is to keep my ecb to a minimum to get the lowest possible price for items my family need, like Diapers, Toilet Papers, etc. I find that when my ecb becomes too large through weekly rolling, it not only becomes stressful to plan weekly shopping trips, I also end up wasting it on things I don't need or will ever use just for the sake of spending my ecbs before they expire. Thus, my goal of getting the cheapest possible price for items and keeping ecbs to a minimum.
Transaction 1: (Card A)
Buy 4 Pampers at $8.99 = $35.96
Buy 1 Tide at $5.94 = $5.94
Buy 4 Skippy at $2.50 = $10
Buy 3 Skippy Cows = $2
Buy 2 Huggies Wipes at $2.12 = $4.24 (clearance)
Total = $58.14 before coupons
Use (4) $1/1 Skippy = $4
Use (1) $2/1 Tide = $2
Use (4) $1.5/1 Pampers = $6
Use (2) $2/1 Huggies Wipes = $4
Use $3 from CVS Email = $3
Use (2) $1/1 Skinny Cow CVS = $2
Use $5 off $35 Baby = $5
Use $5 off $20 transaction = $5
Total Coupons = $31.00
Total to Pay = $27.14
Use $10 ECB from last week = $10
Total OOP: $17.14
Get back $13 ECB: $10 (P&G), $3 (Skippy)
Final Price: $14.14 for 4 Pampers, 1 Tide, 4 Skippy Peanut Butter, 3 Skinny Cow Chocolate, 2 large packs of baby wipes. Not bad. :)
It's the equivalent of paying the following prices for each item:
2 Bags Baby Wipes: Free
3 Skinny Cows: Free
4 Skippy Peanut Butter: $0.75 each
1 Tide: $1
4 Pampers Diapers: $2.54 each
The rest of the transactions are very repetitive. So I'll try to keep it short and summarize. :)
Transaction 2: (Card A)
Buy 2 Pampers = $17.98
Buy 1 Tide = $5.94
Use (2) $1.5/1 Pampers = $3
Use (1) $2/1 Tide = $2
