What Is Omeprazole ODT?
- Omeprazole ODT is an Orally Disintegrating Tablet that provides relief of frequent heartburn (occurring 2 or more days a week)
- Because it easily dissolves on your tongue, it is practical and easy to take anywhere you are
- Features a strawberry flavor for a pleasant taste
- It provides 24-hour relief from heartburn if used as directed
Note that once you have taken the tablet, you may experience some relief in the first 24 hours, but it may take 1-4 days to feel the full effect. Omeprazole ODT is not intended for immediate relief. For best consumption experience, allow tablet to dissolve on your tongue. Do not chew Omeprazole ODT tablets or dissolve in liquid. Omeprazole ODT treats the same symptoms as Prilosec OTC but it’s more affordable.
