• FREE Auto Price Adjustments (Money Back with Online Purchases – WOW!)

    Paribus

Did you know? Most online retailers allows for price adjustments within a 7-14 day period. So that if prices fall after you’ve bought something, you’re entitled to Money for the price difference. Online stores like Amazon :(, Walmart, GAP, Target, Best Buy, Sephora, Macy’s, Staples, Nordstrom.

Paribus is a simple and clever service that takes care of monitoring price drops and requesting money back for you Automatically. Once you sign up for the service (FREE to Sign up), link it to your email, then forget about it. You SAVE without lifting a finger. The service will automatically detect for online purchases, monitor for price drops and request for price adjustment refunds.

If you shop online on any capacity, Paribus WILL save you money. And there’s nothing for you to do. Just sit back and watch as refunds come into your inbox. Click Here to sign up for Paribus.

Here’s a Facebook LIVE video I did on Paribus and my personal experience:

Refunds for price adjustments are issued to you in the same original form of payment. So if you paid with a credit card, you will receive a credit back on that card. Paribus doesn’t have access to your payment when you receive this refund. How Paribus gets paid is charging a nominal percentage of the amount you were refunded on a credit card on file. (Don’t worry! Keep Reading…)

BUT you don’t need to enter a credit card just yet, because your first refund is FREE of fees. This way, you have proof that it works before putting a card on file. You are only charged if you SAVE money and receive a refund. Pretty cool.

The fee after your first Free refund is 25%. HOWEVER, if you signup from a referral link (like mine here), the fee drops to 20%. And for every friend that you refer, it drops another 5% in fees. Which means that if you can get 4 friends to sign up, your fee drops to ZERO.

Seriously though, I feel that even at the 25% fee rate, it is extremely fair. Especially considering it is EXTRA money I would not have gotten anyway.  Amazon prices change hundreds of times a day, I don’t have the time to be monitoring price changes for all my online purchases. 🙂

Most of us have several emails, and since you can only associate one email per account, Paribus recommends signing up multiple emails where you receive purchase receipts.

I did speak to the company and feel full confidence in what they provide. They were named one of the Best iphone apps by Businesss Insider (along side the likes of Periscope and Snapchat), and named the Best App of the Year on Webby Awards 2015.

    Common Q&A

    paribus-screenshot

Q: Will Paribus Have my Email Password?

No, Paribus won’t have your email password. You are signing into Google authentication. Only your email provider will have access to that. Paribus only has the permission to hook into your email to check for online purchase receipts and send requests for refunds. Your email will always remain under the supervision of you inbox provider (Google, Microsoft).

This is much like using your facebook or twitter account to sign into other online services. Or how Slice hooks into your email to track your packages.

If you’re still not comfortable, one thought is to create a separate email account just for online purchases. This way, it’s separated out with your main email.

Q: Will they have my personal information, my credit card number, my Social Security?

Paribus will have just the info on your order receipt. Address, name. No Social. No credit card number.

Even when you add a credit card on file for the fee, they use a payment gateway called Stripe – which is how credit cards are processed for major retailers online. What this means is, the credit card you give isn’t shown to Paribus. The card is sent directly to Stripe and store in an encrypted vault. Paribus is then given a unique id to identify your account.

Q: What stores do they support?

Paribus currently supports 18 popular retailers including: Amazon, Target, Walmart, Gap, Old Navy, Best Buy, Macy’s, Sephora, Staples, Bloomingdales, Newegg, J.Crew, Zappos, Nordstrom, Banana Republic, Athleta, Piperlime.

I signed up using the link on your page and did not get the 5% off of fees and they still asked for a credit card.

Hey Quin. You don’t need to enter the credit card on your first rebate. You can skip that part. You won’t see the 5% off fees though until you enter the credit card number for your second rebate. Hope that makes sense. 🙂

      Hi Tina,

I tried using it, but it’s not working for me. All the purchases found say “ineligible” – item isn’t currently covered by the store’s price protection policy.

Also, did you enter your CC information when you signed up?

      Thanks,
      Candice
