Note: Last day to get this deal, updated the breakdown with a new printable coupon that will make the Crystal Light a $1.00 Moneymaker.
(Deal ends 7/5) Today is the last day to score a Free Country Time Lemonade (19oz), Crystal Light (10pk), or Kool-Aid (19oz) at Walgreens! These are priced at $2.00, plus you will receive $2 Register Rewards on your next purchase, which means Free Lemonade, no coupons needed!
As usual with Register Reward deals, if you buy more than one bottle in a transaction, only one RR will print. So you may want to split up transactions. If you are new to couponing at Walgreens, check out this Walgreens 101 Tutorial.
► Buy (1) Crystal Light Lemonade (10 pk) = $2.00
(Or buy one Country Time or Kool-Aid Lemonade 19oz)
Use (1) $1/1 Crystal Light Drink Mix = -$1.00
Pay: $1.00
Get Back: $2 Register Rewards
Final Price: Free + $1.00 Moneymaker
OMG! I can’t be silent any longer. You never get anything for free when money leaves your pocket. Spending $2 on Country Time Lemonaide and getting $2 back in RR is not free. If you could turn around and spend the $2 RR on another container or lemonaide, it makes them $1 each, not free.
You’re right, but you can roll rewards from other offers. Points to register rewards and vice versa to make it free. You start off spending out of pocket but as you roll rewards that’s how it becomes free. Hope this clarifies
That’s what I did! I bought the lemonade and the starbucks deal, used those RRs to pay for the toothbrush deal, bought a filler. Then used the toothbrush RR, to buy lemonade and starbucks, paid the .50 OOP, and repeat! So, yeah money up front but if you know how to roll them you can get items for free.
Technically, you are getting the lemonade for free. The only catch is, the 2 dollars you are getting back, must be used at THEIR store. So, if you decide to go back, and grab another thing of lemonade, you basically got it BOGO. Or as you said, 1dollar each. All depends on a persons perspective. If you shop there frequently, as I do, this nets ya a discount on your next purchase. Then I will go back and buy diapers for the kiddos, and use the 2 dollars off.
