Stories about people in the village in the Languedoc featured in Une Petite Revolution Francaise. Some are sequels, some are prequels, just little stories about the characters in that idyllic village in which “the English lady”, a lottery winner, settled. She revitalised her own life and that of her neighbours by planning and funding the renovation of the village’s neglected Salle des Fetes. In doing so, her neighbours became her friends, their lives became inter-twined with hers, and she realised what a quality of life they all enjoyed.
