I remember when my whole family got together at my grandparents for Thanksgiving. I lost my grandparents and my father. I miss those days. They are all in the same cemetery I drive by there everyday and honk like we used to when we left there house and drove back home.

My favorite memory was always going to my Nanas house. Table set up in the living room. The wood stove would be blaring warm heat and she would be in the kitchen cooking like crazy. Table was decorated beautifully and always had mini cinnamon rolls that she made and a couple bowls of the variety nuts for everyone to munch on while we waited. Family from all over the state would come and we would all sit at the tables and eat. Then we would help clean up and everyone would be so full and the wood stove going about 90% of the family would fall asleep on the couch while the rest of us would watch the Redskins football game. I miss my nana so much. It was her favorite holiday. She got sick but she stayed around for thanksgiving and passed the day after. Wish my daughter and nephews and nieces were around when she was. Such an amazing family memory. Thanks for letting me remember the good old times ❤️

Our favorite family memory is everyone waiting for my mothers wonderful deboned stuffed Turkey to be served! It is a masterpiece usually weighing about 40-50lbs! Thanksgiving isn’t complete without a slice of a completely boneless turkey filled with rice, ground meats, Chorizo, and vegetables! We may have moved a few states away but we keep the tradition alive in Barre, Vermont!

My favorite Thanksgiving memories are all of those made on younger days, when we sued to host holidays at the house of my great grandmother, who passed away last summer. Due to her failing health the last few years, we moved holidays to a local rented hall, just wasn’t the same… Very few of us really liked it, but we did it for her, to still keep the family able to come together for holidays, when she could no longer handle the noise, hussle, and crowds in her little farm house any more. Holidays are still special, and always will be, but will never be the same sine she’s gone, and the family (is a pretty big one) doesn’t all come together like we used to.

My favorite Thanksgiving memory was traveling to see my grand aunt who has now passed in Virginia for thanksgiving one year. I’m reading from Boston, Ma.
