My favorite Thanksgiving memory is my mom cooking in the kitchen. My twin brother would try and steal some food before it was ready and end up getting hit with whatever my mom had in her hand at the time. From Chicago il

My favorite Thanksgiving memory is having all my extended family as well as my close friend who never experienced Thanksgiving before over at my parents house. However, the cherry on top was when everyone played basketball together in the backyard and then double dutch with my late grandmother.
      I’m from Long Beach, California.

My favorite memory of thanksgiving is when I was little. My mom worked a lot & the family elected her to be over the sweet Potato Pie. Although my mom was extremely tired & didn’t get any sleep the day before, she still took on the task of making several mini pies for everyone. The only thing is she fell asleep while they were baking & forgot to set the timer. So, the pies were burnt. She didn’t have time or ingredients to remake them so she brought what she had & everyone thought it was hilarious!! Honestly, we just peeled the dark layer off the top & are the pies as usual. Not one was left at the end & we still joke about that til this day! I’m writing this from Norcross, GA.

My favorite memory….most memorable is when I was 13 years old and my grampa was in an assisted living home recouperaring from being very ill. My mom wouldn’t leave his side but was torn between him and cooking dinner for us for thanksgiving. I had watched her many times prepare the stuffing we all loved. Which he would make throughout the year. So I took it upon myself to go grocery shopping with my dad pick up all the ingredients and make the stuffing potatoes ham and turkey. I have no idea how it came out but i was so proud of myself. I took my grampa and mom dinner that thanksgiving.
