My favorite thanksgiving memory is from a few years ago, I was able to cook my mom (and sisters) a full meal! It’s a huge deal because as a kid my family didn’t have a lot so to have the ability to not only buy the food but be able to cook and enjoy it was amazing. We also played some family games and watched some football, it was definitely a memory I will carry forever!

When I made the turkey all by myself for the first time.. I’m half Salvadoran so our turkey is made in a sauce and it’s has a lot of ingredients. But I was really proud that year because my aunts made one too but mine came out exactly like my granny’s. Very proud moment. From East Los Angeles, California
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is the first time I met my adoptive parents extended family. Everyone was so full of love and acceptance and it was like we had been family all of our lives. I love them all so much but this year I am hosting another Thanksgiving dinner with my birth mother who gave my sister’s and I away to protect us from our Monster birth father as well as my 6/8 birth sisters. So a basket would be dope.

I’m writing from Freedom, CA and my fondest memory on thanksgiving was always just cooking a lot and working hard to enjoy a meal with my family.
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is from when I was about 6 years old. My family went to live in Mexico for a short period. My mom would ordered a turkey from a Chinese restaurant and we had a lot of the traditional thanksgiving sides but with a Mexican flair.. so to recap we were in Mexico having a Chinese style turkey on thanksgiving.. crazy I know but it was one of the best thanksgiving memories.
