I spent last Thanksgiving traveling. As much as I missed my family, it was a wonderful adventure that I’ll always remember. This year will be spent with family again 🙂

My husband and I took our little family to a nice buffet one year. It was great. We all got the food we wanted and no one had to cook or clean up. We live in Woodbridge Virginia now.

My favorite Thanksgiving memory is from 5 yrs ago. I decided to buy a fresh turkey from my neighborhood poultry butcher. I specifically told them I didn’t want any of the insides saved because I definitely wouldn’t use them. Two days before Thanksgiving I had my fresh turkey. I was so happy. As I unpackaged it, I noticed the neck was still attached. I freaked out! I literally called my grandmother (crying hysterically) and told her. She said “okay, okay, stop crying. I’ll be right over!” So my grandmother came right over and cut the neck off for me. She’s my hero!! Best memory (and funniest) ever with me my gram!

Hi. It’s Marsha from NY. As soon as September comes I love the holidays that come after that. I love Thanksgiving, honestly there is so much to be thankful for. Pretty much I’m following tradition from my Dad. My Dad was a single parent. So it was my Dad, myself and brother. He would wake I would around 4 am. To start seasoning the turkey lol, then he would wait till around 8:45 to tell us to start getting ready to watch the Thanksgiving day parade on TV. He gave a lite breakfast because he didn’t want us to get full and have and appetite for dinner later. I pretty much follow that to the tee every year but the season my Turkey as couple of days before cooking it. My kids are now 20-14. We still keep Grandpa traditions alive and we miss him dearly❤️. We all should just every little second with every one. God bless everyone. Have a healthy Gobble Gobble, and a Happy Christmas and New Years ❤️.

My favorite Thanksgiving memory is when my grandmother cooked so much food that she invited our neighbors from the block over to eat, watch football, play cards and games and joke around to get to know each other better. From that day, for three years we would have a neighborhood Thanksgiving block party. Best foods on the block! ~ Oviedo, Florida

My favorite Thanksgiving momory is when I was about 8 years old and my great grandparents came up from Alabama to CT enjoy the holidays with us. It was our entire family…grandparents, parents, siblings, aunt’s, uncles and cousins…it was GREAT! I miss those days!
