My favorite Thanksgiving memory was when my youngest son was 5 yrs old. He would not eat anything with nuts he used to tell people he was allergic. He has never had a nut allergy though. My brother and I stayed sitting at the table chit chatting and I noticed my son sat there too listening. My brother noticed my son kept eyeing the deserts so he pushed the pecan pie in front of him. My son was so into our conversation that he didnt notice. When he finally looked down he noticed the pecan pie but all the pecans were missing from it. With his eyes wide open he says, “Oh no!! Someone ate all the nuts off the pie!!” We tell him it was him. He says, “It wasn’t me I’m allergic.” His was too busy listening to our stories that he had not noticed he was picking off and eating each pecan one by one.
My favorite thanksgiving memory would be when I use to be younger and getting so excited to help my mom prepare the turkey. Getting everything ready being able to help mom on thanksgiving by cooking and doing desserts. It will always just be us nothing big but being able to do everything with my mom was fun and family time. I’m reading from Chicago Illinois

Fav Thanksgiving memory is when my older brother came home from the military. I was about 5 he actually was in town for several weeks came to my school for show and tell to tell the Class about his experience. Everyone was pretty excited to have a soldier in the classroom.
