My absolute favorite Thanksgiving memory was when my grandpa finally attended! I cried when I heard he was coming. He normally never comes to any events or ever really leaves the house. He has been battling cancer for a while now so the chemo really takes a toll on him. It’s been spreading all over his body so that doesn’t help along with his old age. He gets extremely sick at times. Some days he is so weak, he can’t even walk. So I’m sure you can imagine how excited and happy I was that he came. He had a wonderful time and I was so happy to see him happy and eating and not sick for once. Fingers crossed he comes to thanksgiving this year at my moms house.

I love everything about Thanksgiving! My favorite memory is when I was younger, after dinner and dessert all my cousins and I would get out the newspapers and computers to search for all of the Black Friday deals and plan where we were going to go and what times we were going! So much fun! Tuning in from Providence, RI!
When my grandmother was alive I used to help her out cooking on Thanksgiving, now that she’s not here and it’s sad cooking without her but I continue to do it for the memories that we shared together. I’m reading from Irving, Tx

My favorite thanksgiving was when I was 16 years old and my Dad was still with us. He was roasting a pig in the back yard in like the do in our home town. He made the pit himself he was so happy and hardworking. He loved to cook for his family. One of my most favorite memories of thanksgiving with my dad. May he Rest In Peace. Hollywood Florida.

My best memory is the first year I helped my mom cook thanksgiving dinner. It felt so good to finally be able to help. Now I’m the one that cooks thanksgiving for everyone. Cooking from Brooklyn, NY! =)
My favorite Thanksgiving was at one of my oldest aunt house in NYC, it was very cold and BEAUTIFUL. I like winter very much.
Best thanksgiving memory is the last thanksgiving before my mom passed away. We celebrated together, happy, the following year she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Every year since then I have tried to make sure my children know that thanksgiving is about being thankful for each other.
My favorite Thanksgiving memory would be every single one my family and I have had. The fact that on that one day we can all come from different towns and states to join each other in one table and share stories and memories while enjoying dinner it’s just wonderful and I’m so grateful to be able to host it every year.
