I’m living in Tyler, TX and my fav memory is everyone huddled in the kitchen with my grandmother and helping her cook her recipes❤️

My favorite memory/memories is when family members including aunts, uncles, cousins (1st & 2nd) & friends of family all travel from various states to my mom’s house to celebrate our blessings & thanks for the year & years to come. Although some family members are no longer with us, we still have a place at the table for them & remember them in our thanksgiving prayer.

My favorite thanksgiving memory is learning to make tamales with my great grandma for the first time. We had 4 generations of women making them together. We spent 5 hours together and my great grandma was telling me stories about her childhood and life in Mexico. Sadly she passed away last December and I moved across the country from my grandma and mom.
My favorite memory of Thanksgiving is going around the table saying what we are thankful for that year.
