My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF 😂). While my daughter Sophie isn't a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother's behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears. Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called "Dinner Winner". They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids. I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a "map" of food to a " hidden treasure".  When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat. 😬  This is your "bait". #Genius! The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn't like. I've since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern 🙈. They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick. Anyway, it's been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays.
