The first one is $3.99, the second is $1.99. Total is $5.98 – 2($3) coupons = $0.02 overage that can be applied towards the rest of the transaction if there is another item to eat up that total.
I don’t see how you subtracted $4.99 when it’s two $3 coupons.
Hi Leslie. Rite Aid’s coupon policy doesn’t allow for overage. They are supposed to adjust the coupon down to the price of the item. However, some cashiers just let you use the coupons. Hope that helps. 🙂
