i did this deal on Sunday at self-checkout and used the coupon. The employee said I can’t use the coupon because its a promotion and it takes off one soda. Im thinking to myself but its a promotion going if u buy 5 its $1 each. Long story short he ended up redeeminh the coupon for me because he couldn’t get anybody to get me another soda. Is the system wrong for that?
Woah – that’s crazy! The 5 for $5 promotion is not the same as a buy 4 get 1 free promotion, so you should have been able to use the coupon on the five sodas. I’m glad they redeemed it for you. I think perhaps the employee was just confused. I usually have the coupon policy printed or pull it up on my phone if I have any trouble like this. Thanks for the heads up!
