I did this deal the other day with the 31% CW was posted. The cashier handed me back 1/$5 coupon & 1/$2 Target coupon, because the Register Beeped! Bummer! But I went directly to the Customer Service Dept. and showed them the item’s & coupons and they gave me the credit to my Gift Card! It was an extra 5 minutes out of my way…But $7 bucks is $7 Buck’s! Hey Tina, I did this purchase exactly as above but the Target employee said I could not use the $2 target coupon with the manufacturer coupons. And it did not trigger the $5 gift card. It getting to be impossible to shop at Target now with coupons. Hate to say it but they are about to be one of my least favorite stores.
Oh no, I’m sorry that you had a bad experience. Next time this happens I would try taking the purchase over to guest services to see if they can help adjust it for you.
Hi Tina, I thought Target wasn’t allowing for moneymakers with gift cards anymore. I heard that the system will automatically adjusting down the coupon for the gift card deal. So is this deal still a moneymaker?
Hi Yvonne. I haven’t come across that at my Target yet, but I have heard reports from some of our readers that the same thing has happened to them. 🙁 Although I did also read that Target was being sued for that, so hopefully it won’t happen anymore. 🙂
How do I print two of the target coupons? It only allows me to print one?
Hi Alycia. I’m not sure why it only let you print one. 🙁 Do you have another computer or device that you could print from?
Print one, then go back in and print the second. Generally it moves the coupon down to the bottom of the section, but should still let you print two, I was just able to with no problems. If all else fails, do as Tina suggested and use a different device.
