(Offer Expires 12/3 Tuesday) I’m super excited about this deal and plan to take advantage of it several times before the promotion ends on 12/3. Right now, Albertsons is offering a $20 Catalina Coupon (printed at cashier on receipt paper) when you buy $100 on select and specific gift cards. You can use the $20 coupon for future transactions of $20 or more. They expire one week after they are printed, so watch the expire date on these coupons. One catalina printed per transaction, so if you plan to buy two $100 cards, break them up into separate transactions. Here’s the list of select gift cards that’s part of the promotion:

- Mastercard Gift Cards – $5.95 activation fee extra. But you can use these anywhere master cards are accepted.

The Mastercard Gift Card rolls, so you can potentially buy one card, and use the first card to pay for the next card, while paying for the $5.95 fee. This seems to be printing Catalina most of the time when you roll the gift card. You can’t use the $20 Catalina towards the gift card purchase, however.
Another scenario, is to use coupons that adds up to roughly $6 on groceries that’s adds up to over $20 (before coupons) to absorb the $5.95 activation fee while rolling the Mastercard. Here’s an example scenario:
Transaction 1:
Buy one $100 Mastercard GC = $105.95
Pay: $105.95
Get Back: $20 Catalina
Transaction 2:
Buy three Tide Laundry Detergent at $6.99 Each = $20.97
Buy one $100 MasterCard GC = $105.95
Use $20 Catalina from Trans 1 = -$20
Use (3) $2/1 Tide (PG 10/27) = -$6
Pay using $100 Mastercard from Trans 1 = -$100
You Pay: $0.92!!
Rinse & Repeat! lol. The Tide is just an example that I’ve seen people do. You can get other grocery items you have coupons for. YOU might also be interested in the Gift Card Deal at CVS. I used the CVS paypal card to pay for this Albertson’s GC. It was awesome!
