Update: HURRY! It’s BACK!
New Raise users! You can save $15 on your first discounted Gift Card on Raise (keep reading). This is so awesome. You can do this on any gift card. ie. Starbucks, Sephora, Target, AMC, Victoria’s Secret, etc. Note that the gift cards are already discounted at 2% to 30% off already before the $15 Off! You can score some killer deals on gift cards for stores you already shop at. Here are just a few examples of deals you can score:
- Get $45 Starbucks Gift Card for $28
- Get $25 Fandango Gift Card for $10
You’ll be able to get $5 Off with my referral. Plus, when you check out, you can use promo code WELCOME10 to save an additional $10! That’s $15 Off in total. I am a huge fan and have been a customer for a few years. You may have seen in my Starbucks video last year, that this is how I never pay full price at Starbucks: by buying discounted gift cards and loading them onto my Starbucks account.
Here’s how to claim the Free $15:
- Click here to sign up and create a new account (If you are on mobile, it’ll open up the app store for you to download the app. Instructions on setting up from mobile app below).
- Make sure to use Referral code FSF when signing up
- Enter your mobile number, they will text you a code.
- Enter the code to verify your number. Once you verify, the $5 will be credited to your account
- Browse around and hit Buy Now next to cards you want. Tip: You can buy multiple cards for different stores of smaller amounts that add up to $25. Your subtotal should be $25 or more (not the gift card value).
- Checkout.
- Enter Promo Code: WELCOME10 during checkout to take off $10 (new accounts only)
- The Free $5 credit will come off automatically during checkout after you’ve entered your payment information.
If you still do not see your $5 credit, there are a few things you can do. You can either contact customer service – their live chat during business hour is great. Or you can do the following if you are on mobile):
- Download the Raise app. Sign in
- Click top left corner or click on “more” at bottom for menu
- Select “Invite Friend”
- At bottom of this page, click “Referred by Someone?”
- Enter FSF as code and then click Claim
They carry gift cards for most major brands of stores and restaurants you already shop at. Click here to browse around to see some retailers you can score discounted gift cards for.
Think of it this way: If you are going to be spending money in a particular store anyways, you will be saving money by buying a discounted gift card. For example, my husband is doing some home upkeep project and need to go to Home Depot. We go on Raise and buy Home Depot gift cards. Even if the savings was say 7%, that’s still savings. That’s like $7 for every $100 spent. It ads up quickly! And some gift cards have discounted rates up to 20% or more.
If you find a gift card for $10, you can score it for $5 with the Free $5 Credit. The lowered dollar value gift cards tend to go fast. If the $10 or less ones are all gone, look for $15 or $25. Remember, get gift cards for stores you shop at, so it’ll be savings since the gift cards are discounted. Some of my favorite stores to get discounted gift cards for are: Starbucks (obviously), Target, Walmart, Fandango (for movies) and Home Depot (when my husband is doing projects for the home).
how can you buy the target gift cards and use them in store. I talked to someone today at Target. She said, if it is an egift card you can put it on your account then use it in store? Is this correct? I didn’t know you could put gift cards on your account. I tried to do a search on youtube to see if anyone made a video about this and found nothing. I thought you can only use egift cards for on line only purchases? Because today I bought a egift card then bought the puff deal online for instore pick up. Found it to be a huge pain trying to get my phone to download the $ gift card so I could pay for my in store order. My phone was extremely slow and it was a little complicated to me on how to receive my gift card after picking up my online order.
You will need to login to your Target account and create a mobile gift card account. You can find more information about it here: https://help.target.com/help/subcategoryarticle?childcat=Convert+to+Target+mobile+GiftCards&parentcat=Gift+Cards&searchQuery=search+help

Yay. So glad you were able to figure it out and get in on this sweet deal. 🙂
Hi Tina
Is this web site safe and how many cards can I order .
Hey Zobia. The website is safe, I use it all the time. 🙂 There is a limit to 1 $5 credit per new account. Hope that helps. 🙂
Hi Tina,
I purchased my first gift card and received it by mail. It turned out to be a card w/ merchandise credit (not a gift card). When I tried to use it, the store clerk said it was “frozen” and not useable, so now I am in the midst of getting my money back. wanted to share so folks know what they get may not work.
Thanks!
Oh no. I’m sorry that happened. Hopefully everything will get sorted out. 🙂

Hi i redeemed this credit for a $5 gift card which charged me $3.50 credit and $1.00 from my card when it’s 4.50
Hey Jin. I’m not sure why it would do that. I would contact them to find out more information. 🙂
i was going to order the sephora $5 gift card with the credit but they still want to charge $1.00 which is weird because they didn’t use the whole credit. also they don’t take paypal which sucks.
Hmmm I’m not sure why it would do that. You can contact customer service and ask them why. 🙂
Worked for me, thanks! 🙂 How long does it usually take for the gift cards from Raise to arrive?
Hi Mandy. It comes through standard mail. Usually only takes a couple of days. The Egift cards are instant. Hope that helps. 🙂
