Update: HURRY! It’s BACK!
New Raise users! You can save $15 on your first discounted Gift Card on Raise (keep reading). This is so awesome. You can do this on any gift card. ie. Starbucks, Sephora, Target, AMC, Victoria’s Secret, etc. Note that the gift cards are already discounted at 2% to 30% off already before the $15 Off! You can score some killer deals on gift cards for stores you already shop at. Here are just a few examples of deals you can score:
- Get $45 Starbucks Gift Card for $28
- Get $25 Fandango Gift Card for $10
You’ll be able to get $5 Off with my referral. Plus, when you check out, you can use promo code WELCOME10 to save an additional $10! That’s $15 Off in total. I am a huge fan and have been a customer for a few years. You may have seen in my Starbucks video last year, that this is how I never pay full price at Starbucks: by buying discounted gift cards and loading them onto my Starbucks account.
Here’s how to claim the Free $15:
- Click here to sign up and create a new account (If you are on mobile, it’ll open up the app store for you to download the app. Instructions on setting up from mobile app below).
- Make sure to use Referral code FSF when signing up
- Enter your mobile number, they will text you a code.
- Enter the code to verify your number. Once you verify, the $5 will be credited to your account
- Browse around and hit Buy Now next to cards you want. Tip: You can buy multiple cards for different stores of smaller amounts that add up to $25. Your subtotal should be $25 or more (not the gift card value).
- Checkout.
- Enter Promo Code: WELCOME10 during checkout to take off $10 (new accounts only)
- The Free $5 credit will come off automatically during checkout after you’ve entered your payment information.
If you still do not see your $5 credit, there are a few things you can do. You can either contact customer service – their live chat during business hour is great. Or you can do the following if you are on mobile):
- Download the Raise app. Sign in
- Click top left corner or click on “more” at bottom for menu
- Select “Invite Friend”
- At bottom of this page, click “Referred by Someone?”
- Enter FSF as code and then click Claim
They carry gift cards for most major brands of stores and restaurants you already shop at. Click here to browse around to see some retailers you can score discounted gift cards for.
Think of it this way: If you are going to be spending money in a particular store anyways, you will be saving money by buying a discounted gift card. For example, my husband is doing some home upkeep project and need to go to Home Depot. We go on Raise and buy Home Depot gift cards. Even if the savings was say 7%, that’s still savings. That’s like $7 for every $100 spent. It ads up quickly! And some gift cards have discounted rates up to 20% or more.
If you find a gift card for $10, you can score it for $5 with the Free $5 Credit. The lowered dollar value gift cards tend to go fast. If the $10 or less ones are all gone, look for $15 or $25. Remember, get gift cards for stores you shop at, so it’ll be savings since the gift cards are discounted. Some of my favorite stores to get discounted gift cards for are: Starbucks (obviously), Target, Walmart, Fandango (for movies) and Home Depot (when my husband is doing projects for the home).
If you downloaded the app, and already bought one. Can you not use the $5 invite credit again? Cause I’m not seeing it anymore.
Hey. I’m not quite sure. It may have a limit of one. 🙂

Oh no. Thanks for letting me know, Wendy. They only allow a certain number of gift cards to be redeemed. 🙂
I tried to buy an Applebee voucher, but when I put the code SAVE10 I was told that it had expired.
Hey Jojo. Thanks for letting me know. I’ll expire the post now. 🙂
Hi Tina,
You mentioned that you transfer your Raise purchase to your Starbucks account. But Raise states that not to transfer to Starbucks account. How do you transfer?
Raise is wrong. I don’t know why they state that. Open up your starbucks account from a browser. Click Transfer funds from another card. Enter this card info. Done!
I brought a burger king eVoucher for $100, but when I redeem it in burger king, the recorded says there is $0 balance for the voucher. What can I do? Is there anyway to get my money back?
Hey. I would contact them and see if they can get that fixed for you. 🙂
Darn, the Save10 promo code already expired 🙁
Dang! These always go really fast. Thanks for the heads up. 🙂
I’m super excited about this! I just snagged 2 $10 Ryan’s buffet gift cards for only $4.80 after discounts. Now my boyfriend and I can have a nice lunch or dinner date cheap. 🙂
Yay! I’m so glad you were able to get them. Go enjoy your date. 🙂

Hi Stacey. You can buy an individual gift card, but they might be sold out now.
