Hi Tina. Just to let you know, I purchased these Jeans and the site did say that I would earn $41.10 in points but they did not give me the full amount (only $20) and refused to honor the remainder of the points, telling me that it was only an estimate and they did not see any other offer for the purchase other than $20 back for a $20 jeans purchase. I did not use any points to purchase the jeans and paid from my credit card. I spoke with a supervisor and they wouldn’t honor it despite the fact that they sent me a confirmation email saying that I had earned $41.10 in points. This company obviously engages in dishonest tactics. Very, very disappointing.
Hi Lisa. I am so sorry to hear that they wouldn’t honor it. That is very dishonest, especially if it said right in your email that you would get them back. Did you try contacting their corporate office?
Thank you so much for the advice Tina. 🙂 I contacted the corporate office of Sears Holding Corp and they credited me the money. This is the not the first time this has happened but it is the first time they’ve refused to credit me the amount that was promised. It’s really Shop Your Way that should have credited me the money and not Sears. I couldn’t believe the justification was that it was an estimation. Really? If it’s an estimation of points then they shouldn’t be sending an email telling me that I “earned” a certain number of points. That’s game playing and it’s dishonest. You can’t promise a customer something in writing and then renege on that agreement. Thank you so much for everything you do. 🙂 You have saved me hundreds of dollars in the few short months that I’ve been following you.
Hi Lisa. I am so happy that it all worked out for you. I have had many issues resolved by contacting corporate. I’m glad to hear that it got resolved. 🙂
My says 0 points earned, do you know why?
Hi Fatima. Did you use points to pay? If you use points to pay then you won’t get points back. Hope that helps. 🙂
