Before you ask why I would want a cheap cell phone, keep reading. There’s a reason to this madness besides this killer price drop. First, these phones run on the Android operating system, which means you can download apps and games on to this phone. So you can use this as a toy phone for your kids without feeling worried that they might break. They are so inexpensive that you can use it as a spare gaming device for the kids.
Second, these things are water proof. Yes! They advertise this as “Water Resistant” but the phone is actually categorized as “Waterproof”. I read reviews of people using this as a radio for their shower. Cute!
Third, I heard through the grape vine that there’s a way to print coupons.com coupons from an android device now. I don’t know how to do it (yet), but it may be possible. But in the event that it can print, that’s two more coupons you can print.
Lastly, and this might only apply to me (lol) is when you have family or friends visiting from another country, you can set them up on this phone for $2 a day temporarily on pay as you go. I do this whenever my parents are visiting (from Canada).
