There are a lot of reward programs out there, and to be honest, I am confused by a lot of them. But there is one that I consistently stick to: Ebates – Because it’s easy, intuitive, and they pay you in a reliable quarterly check. I literally will forget about it, and would randomly get checks in the mail a few times a year for making purchases I would of made anyways. So if you are new and don’t yet have an Ebates account, I highly recommend you sign up now. How to Use Ebates?
- Before you’re about to make an online purchase…
- Sign in or Sign up to Ebates
- In search box (top right corner), search for the store you plan to shop in. Select the store from search.
- Once you’re on the store’s landing page on ebates, click on “Shop Now” button in orange. Any of the button on this page will do.
- You will be redirected to the online store. How find the items you want, check out normally. That’s it! The end. Simple right?
- Within a few hours (sometimes a few days), you will get an email confirming that the cash back has been credited to your account. Be patient. As long as you did the above steps, you’ll be fine.
- If you plan to do more transactions, even in the same online stores, I would repeat the steps above, click through ebates for every unique transaction. This is the only way to ensure you get credit for those additional transactions.
- Once a quarter (3 months), you’ll receive a check from ebates with your cash back money. Assuming you have $5 or more in your account. If you’re under $5, the balance of your account will roll into the next quarter. It’s your money.
