Starting 11/4, there will be some new changes to Walgreens Balance Reward Points system. You will now redeem your points in 1000 (like $1) points increments, including a new 4000 (like $4) points tier. The amount of points you can redeem on an eligible purchase will now be 5000 points (like $5) per transaction.
If you have several points saved up, you may want to use them on large purchases before 11/4. After 11/4, you may need to rethink the way you shop at Walgreens if you usually accrue a lot of points. It may work out better to make several smaller purchases so you can redeem those points instead of one large purchase.
