11 HOTTEST Toys for Holiday 2017
Can you believe Christmas 2017 is just 10 weeks away?!? Here are the Top 11 Most Wished For Toys for this Holiday season. Remember the Hatchimals craze from last year (2016)? Or Pie Face from 2015? This is THAT list for 2017! I have been obsessively tracking these toys and alerting you guys when they become available. Some on the list usually sell out fast once they become available.
Many of these toys are sold out but stores are replenishing. Keep a look out for these in stores and online.  I've included links to all the stores that carry each toy.
What's on your kiddo's Most Wished For Toy List this year?
Pssst.... FYI: I'll also be Giving Away many of these toys (that I was able to score) back to you guys on this blog and my Facebook page. (Stay tuned!)

There's a new pocket-sized version pre-loaded with 21 of the all-time greatest games! Just plug it in and play. It's currently being sold for $79.99. The Luvabella or the Luvabeau Doll (boy version) is the most interactive doll ever made. She moves, talks, interacts and plays like a real baby. I was curious why this doll had such a high starting price until I looked into it and understood why. The doll has amazing reviews from parents for how interactive it is.
You can teach her to speak (from Babble to over 100 words). She plays peek-a-boo when you cover her eyes and giggles if you tickle her tummy. The doll sleeps, plays with toys, takes a bottle/pacifier, moves arms, neck and face and even blinks! Plus, it can say things unexpectedly and you can even hear its heartbeat - crazy! Prices range from $99.99 up to $198.99. We were able to score some at Target a few weeks ago using the toy coupon for $79.

HAPPY Father’s Day to Special Dads!
Happy Father's Day! My daughter Sophie (4 yrs old) came into our room at 5am this morning. It was still dark out. I asked her "Honey, what are you doing up so early?" She leaned in closer with her messy morning locks and whispered: "I want to wish Daddy a Happy Mother's Day!" 😂
I love this man (aka "Mr FSF"). He truly is the best daddy in the universe. Thank you for protecting us, for providing for us, and for being a role model for how good fathers should be.
Wishing you and the special men in your life... Happy Father's Day!
❤ Love,
Tina

6 Reasons Why You Can’t Live Without the Target REDcard (FREE Popcorn is one)
6 Reasons You Need a Target REDcard
Here at Free Stuff Finder, we absolutely love couponing at Target. There are so many ways to save that it makes it easy for anyone to do. One of the biggest ways to save is using a Target REDcard. Not looking to get roped into another store credit card? Spoiler alert: You don't have to! Do you primarily use your standard bank debit card or credit card at Target anyways? Find out why you should apply for the Target REDcard to rack up those savings!
1. It doesn’t have to be a Target credit card.
The REDcard is available as a Target credit card OR a debit card. That means you can score all the savings without having to deal with paying off another credit card each month or getting a credit check! It’s deducted straight from the existing checking account it’s attached to, just like any other debit card. This automatically makes it superior to other store payment cards.
Think of it this way, if you’re already using your bank debit card to pay at Target, you may as well opt for the Target REDcard debit card to pay to score additional benefits and savings. Best of all, both of these options are completely FREE!
2. Extra 5% off everything. All the time.
How would you like to save hundreds of dollars per year without doing anything except swiping your card? Target REDcard holders score an additional 5% off their purchases all the time, every time. This is extra savings on top of coupons and Cartwheel offers.
Ready for a secret? The 5% discount even applies to non-target, third-party gift cards - discounted Disney trip, anyone? Starbucks?
Your savings will track automatically at the bottom of every receipt you use your REDcard for - you’ll be surprised how much it adds up! There are some limitations. For example, the 5% will not come off of Target Optical exams, prescriptions or Target gift card purchases (Clarification: Target Gift Cards are treated differently than 3rd-party gift cards such as Starbucks or Disney Gift Cards. You can't get the discount on Target Gift Cards but you can on the Non-Target Gift Cards). But for regular purchases of things such as household or baby items, it definitely applies!
3. Free shipping on all purchases.
Target REDcard holders score FREE shipping on all purchases from Target.com. Non-cardholders have to pay shipping on all purchases under $25, so this is a nice little way to save an average of $8 (or more) shipping cost on all orders. Additionally, there is no coupon code required; just pay with your REDcard and the shipping charge will automatically be deducted along with your additional 5% off.
4. Extended returns on all purchases.
On top of everything else, you’ll get extended returns on all purchases (online and in-store). If you buy something with your Target REDcard and later decide you don’t want it, you’ll get an additional 30 days to return it. That’s a total of up to 120 days to return an item! Regret buying all those random Christmas decors from 90% off clearance? No problem. You have until May to return it if you present your REDcard.
Lose receipts easily? Yon won’t even need to keep it for returns! As long as you paid for the item using your Target REDcard, they’ll be able to find the item and credit you back to your card! How awesome is that?
5. Exclusive coupons.
Occasionally, Target REDcard holders will be sent exclusive mailer coupons from Target. For me, these have only come a couple of times a year at most. But, whenever I do get them they are always rare, high-value savings that non-cardholders are missing out on. The last one I got had a coupon for a FREE Dozen eggs! Don’t miss out!
6. Occasional FREEBIES
Every once in awhile, Target REDcard holders are sent exclusive offers for FREEBIES from the Target Cafe or the Starbucks locations in-stores. These are usually fun freebies like FREE popcorn, FREE Icees, etc. You don’t need a coupon or anything to get these. Just watch for when the freebies are advertised in-store (or check here) and show your REDcard instead of paying!
Save extra money all the time, whether it’s from your additional 5% off, free shipping, or exclusive coupons. Plus, get extended return periods! With all of these great perks, how can you afford to NOT have one? Sign up for your Target REDcard today. It’s easy and FREE!
Thanks, Elayna S from our Target Facebook Group for the photo of your Target coupons!

HAPPY EASTER – Get Ready for 50% to 90% off Clearances Starting Monday
HAPPY EASTER! I hope you have an AMAZING Day! My kids were up at 6am in anticipation for the goodies the Easter Bunny left for them. We had a blast doing the egg hunt that the bunny had left. :) I was especially giddy, since I had scored most of the Easter eggs and little toys last year from 90% off clearance at Target and CVS. Paying between $0.10-$0.30. #Winning!
Reminder that Target is closed today. However, starting tomorrow (Monday, 4/17), all non-food Easter items will be at 50% off Clearance. So candy will be at 30% off. 70% off will hit later in the week (likely between Thursday to Saturday). And eventually 90% off will follow (usually 2 days after 70% off has hit).
Everything in the above picture (except the stuffed bunny - My husband bought at full price *Argh*) I had scored for 70% to 90% off from previous years (including the Hello Kitty basket). My favorite finds from last year were the Target Dollar Spot finds from 90% off (like the lip balm kit or the socks) and the giant pre-filled Easter Eggs from CVS 90% off clearance.
Post holiday clearances are one of my favorite times to dig through stores and stock up for the next year. In this way, I avoid paying full price on holiday decor and holiday-themed goodies for my kids. I usually wait until 70% to 90% off before I go (unless there's something I really want - then I'll go at 50% off clearance). If you are new to clearance hunting, I would recommend going at 50% off instead of waiting, just to get some clearance experience under your belt.
I'll be posting when Target hits 70% and 90% off when they happen. Make sure to Like my NEW Target Only Facebook Account Here and Follow my Target IG Account here. Also, if you haven't already, join our community of over 80,000 Target fans at the Target Group here.[contentblock id=70 img=gcb.png]

5 Ways to Get Cheap and Free Clothes for Kids
How to Get Free and Cheap Kid’s Clothes
Kids are expensive. Period. And on top of that, they grow out of clothing so quickly, paying full price can quickly add up to thousands of dollars unnecessarily. I've been there! I know it all too well. These days, I absolutely refuse to pay full price for kids clothing.
Often times, kids will out grow clothing that's barely worn before they need a bigger size. Even with constantly replacing them, playtime can create some heavy wear and tear (especially if your kiddo likes to drag their feet like my daughter or loves playing in mud like my son). Because of this, you really shouldn’t be paying big money for their clothing. Use these tips below to get cheap or free clothes for kids.
1. Buy Used
This is the first tip on the list because it’s probably the most obvious. Buying clothes secondhand allows you to save huge amounts off of the original retail price. Plus, because kids can outgrow clothing so quickly, they are often in excellent shape. There are a ton of places you can go for gently used second hand clothing for kids.
My favorite place online to buy used clothing is ThredUp. It's an online consignment store with major brands like Gymboree, Gap, etc. They have strict quality control as to what they will accept, so 99% of the stuff is exceptional quality, if not brand new. I use this site heavily for both my kids, AND for myself. I've scored some killer deals on designer brands at up to 90% off retail. I've found brands like Lululemon, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, and Donna Karen on there!
Another online consignment store to check out is Schoola. What's cool about Schoola is that 40% of profits are donated to schools. Plus, they have a ton of sales and promotions for additional discounts and free shipping. From my experience, the quality check and selection isn't as good as Thredup, But, I have scored a lot of cute outfits for my kids here on the cheap.
Springtime and summer are great times to stroll the neighborhood for garage sales; there are lots of people taking advantage of the nice weather and doing a purge of all the clothes their kids can’t wear anymore. Alternatively, there's always the traditional places like Goodwill, local kids' consignment stores and Craigslist.
2. Clothing Swaps & Asking Friends
Get together with some mom friends and organize a clothing swap. This is most useful when the moms have kids that are different ages. Bring all the clothes your kiddo can’t wear anymore and swap with a mom (or moms) that have clothes in your kid’s size. Not only are you purging your kid’s closet of everything they can’t wear, but you’re getting a new wardrobe for them completely free!
[caption id="attachment_673406" align="alignnone" width="660"] USA Eventer[/caption]
If you're unsure of where to find clothing swaps, it's a good idea to ask your child's school. My son's school has a clothing swaps for uniforms everywhere. I swap up sizes to get free uniforms each year, OR buy them for super cheap.
The other tip is to talk to friends with older kids and tell them that you would gladly take any clothing their kids have outgrown. If they already plan to drop it off at Goodwill, they might be grateful that you're saving them a trip. Oftentimes, people are too embarrassed to offer without you asking.
I know firsthand how much it can pay off to ask others for their used kid's clothing. When I was pregnant with my firstborn, I had asked my sister in-law. The clothing her son had outgrown was so incredibly helpful with the added cost of a newborn baby. I'll never forget it.
I always try to save my kids clothing for friends with younger kids, and my husband is always telling me "No! That's weird!". I guess it's socially unacceptable where we live. What do you think? Is it something you do?
3. Shop the Deals
If you are going to buy new, make sure you’re buying when things are on sale, and/or using coupon codes to get a discounted price from regular price. The Children's Place regularly has hot sales at 50% off plus free shipping every month. Plus, The Gap and Old Navy both run promotions every week. Want to know how to find the info on the sales? Well, we post about the latest online and in-store deals every single day here on Free Stuff Finder.com. Check out our homepage for what's on sale right now. If you're on Instagram, follow our Baby Deals account for more clothing deals for kids, babies and toddlers.
4. Buy Gender Neutral
Want to be able to reuse clothing from one kid to the next? Then it’s a good idea to buy things gender neutral and reuse them. Obviously, you can’t do that for every single article of clothing. However, big ticket items like winter coats and boots and be purchased in gender neutral colors and styles and reused from child to child. Things like snow boots, snow pants, gloves, are all good ideas that can be shared among siblings.
Also, if you have multiple kids, it's fine to share basics even among different genders. My daughter still wears her older brother's army green jacket and a bunch of his PJs. It's really cute and endearing to see the clothes on her and remember how her big brother used to be teeny like that, also. Very sweet.
5. Plan Ahead
The best time to buy winter clothes is in the beginning of spring. The best time to buy warm weather clothes is at the beginning of fall. Plan ahead and buy sizes a little bigger than what your child is wearing currently. You’ll get crazy cheap clearance prices and won’t have to pay the full price of a larger wardrobe later on.
Everything happens in cycles. There will always be a killer clearance every few month at Target (at the end of every season) where you can get things for 50% to 70% off or more. Once a year, Babies R Us will have a killer clearance event on pink tag clearance apparel (usually in mid to end of January) where clearance items are deeply discounted even more. Plan to hit up these clearance sales and buy for the next year. I recommend that you don't buy too far ahead or else you will have a storage problem. Since these clearance events come back every year, I've found that buying one year out in advance seems to work well for my family. I'll be posting about these clearance events on the blog as they happen, as well.
What about you? What are some things you do to save money on kids clothing? What are your favorite stores for kids clothes?

Rite Aid Black Friday: 6 Tips to Saving Big!
Rite Aid Black Friday Shopping Tips
Rite Aid, like other drugstores, offers some incredible coupon deals on Black Friday. It’s a great opportunity to stock up on needed household items without spending much money out of pocket. These Rite Aid Black Friday shopping tips will help you cash in on their fantastic deals in order to get tons of freebies and super cheap items.
1. Understanding Couponing at Rite Aid
So, in order to Black Friday shop at Rite Aid you really need to understand Rite Aid couponing. This is because pretty much all the deals worth grabbing will be coupon deals. This isn’t your typical “cheap TVs and hot deals on toys” Black Friday shopping. It is, however, a fantastic opportunity to do a big couponing trip for FREE or extremely cheap items such as diapers, personal care, food, household items and more. You can learn how to coupon at Rite Aid here.
2. Plan Your Trip
In order to effectively coupon shop, you have to know what the deals are so you can have all of your coupons organized and ready to go. The Rite Aid Black Friday ad usually leaks at least a few weeks early, giving you plenty of time to do this. (UPDATE: For 2016, the ad can be viewed here and you can see previews for all the Black Friday Freebies here.)
3. Shop Early… or Late
Rite Aid opens up for Black Friday as early as 8 am on Thanksgiving day (as of 2015). They’ve also started opening early on Black Friday (7 am) at stores that aren’t 24 hour locations. This timing gives you plenty of flexibility to still get to the big retail stores to do “real” Black Friday shopping on Thanksgiving evening. You can shop Rite Aid ahead of time (Thanksgiving morning) or after the fact (Black Friday morning).
Some Rite Aid store also early activates the evening before the sale. This will vary by location. You can find out your store has early activated by price checking a known sale item.
4. Using Discounted Gift Cards
You can buy discounted gift cards on places like Raise to save even more money. For example, at the time of this writing, I spotted Rite Aid gift cards listed at $48.20 for a $54.97 gift card. That's 12% in savings by buying this card and using it for your purchases at Rite Aid.  Plus you can save between $5-$15 on your first purchase as a new customer (depending on which promotion is currently running).
I don't recommend getting raise gift cards to give as gifts. Instead, I recommend getting them for yourself to use as payment method for stores you know you shop at. Raise has a 100 day guarantee on all gift cards purchased. So make sure to use the gift card within 3 months.
5. Look for Gift Card Deals
99% of the Rite Aid Black Friday deals with be couponing deals for items like baby stuff, health and beauty aids, etc. However, Rite Aid can be an especially great store to stock up on gift cards for other retailers at, as well. For instance, in 2015 Rite Aid offered $100 Old Navy gift cards for just $75 after all the discounts. Even if you won’t give the gift cards as gifts, you can buy them early on Thanksgiving morning and then use them for your own Black Friday shopping at the stores they are for. It’s another way to stack the savings!
6. Shop BOGOs for Stocking Stuffers
The last helpful tip for Black Friday shopping at Rite Aid that I have for you is to check out the BOGOs. In 2015, Rite Aid had Buy 1 Get 1 FREE offers for everything from fragrance gift sets to small chocolates and other products. Select items were even Buy 1 Get 2 FREE! These types of goodies are fantastic for stuffing stockings and getting other small gifts for holiday parties, etc. Make sure you pay careful attention to these; you don’t want to miss them!

CVS Black Friday: 5 Easy Steps to Scoring FREEBIES (2016 Survival Guide)
How to get CVS Black Friday FREEBIES
When you think of Black Friday deal shopping, you probably don’t think of drugstores like CVS Pharmacy as the best place to go. But actually, shopping CVS Black Friday is an awesome opportunity to stock up on ExtraBucks and get a ton of freebies in the process. (New to couponing at CVS? Go here: How to Coupon at CVS)
As of 2015, CVS is offering their Black Friday deals on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday and the Saturday following Black Friday. PLUS, CVS typically will have a big list of Freebie deals pre-Black Friday (Sunday to Wednesday). So we will see two sets of ads that week.
You can get a lot of deal shopping done there by following these simple CVS Black Friday shopping tips:
1. Sign up for an ExtraCare Rewards card.
Did you know that you can score tons of freebies from CVS on Black Friday? You definitely can! Many items are specially priced to give you the same amount back in ECB in what you spend on them. For example, an item may be priced at $2, but give back $2.00 ECB. Since ECB spend like CASH in CVS stores, you’re basically getting the item for FREE. Even better, if you have coupons to use on the items, you can lower your out of pocket price to make for a nice moneymaker deal!
In order to do these deals, though, you have to be a member of CVS ExtraCare Rewards. Make sure you sign up ahead of time. It’s free, easy and quick. You can sign up here.
2. Learn how to coupon at CVS.
Even though CVS does carry toys and other select items during Black Friday, they are first and foremost a drugstore. They’re going to offer the best deals on things like over-the-counter medicines, household supplies, personal care products, cosmetics, baby items and more. That means it’s a great opportunity to stock up on this type of stuff by stacking coupons with the sale. Knowing how to do this is essential to getting the best CVS Black Friday deals.
The good thing is, we’ve put together a concise and easy-to-understand article to help you learn. You can learn how to get started couponing at CVS here.
3. Make your list and gather your coupons.
Shopping CVS on Black Friday is going to be like other CVS coupon shopping trips. Except, you know… epic. The sheer number of deals available to you is going to be much, much higher than other weekly sales. Whether it’s an ECB deal, a Buy 1 Get 1 FREE deal, a drastically reduced product price or another style of deal, it’s safe to say that there are going to be a done of great deals to grab.
This means that creating your list and staying organized will be more important than ever. Comb through the CVS Black Friday Ad and mark down everything you are interested in getting. Freebie-after-ECB items should ALWAYS be on this list, because who doesn’t like freebies? :) After making your list, search through the Coupon Database to find any matching coupons for items on your list.
Does this seem like a lot of work to you? A great alternative is to follow the Free Stuff Finder CVS deals here. We break down all the best deals and include information on suggested deal scenarios, where to find matching coupons, deal limits and much more. Hopefully that will save you time.
We will have extensive coverage for CVS Black Friday deals and CVS Pre-Black Friday deals as we get closer to the date. Keep an eye out on Free Stuff Finder homepage for the latest. I'll also be covering CVS Black Friday Deals on YouTube, make sure to subscribe to my channel to be notified of new videos.
4. Set your time to shop.
Save your Thursday evenings for large retail stores like Target and Walmart Black Friday shopping. CVS is less-popular in comparison to the general public and offers their deals for a longer amount of time. So in a way, it can wait.
Alternatively, you can also go early. Many non-24hour CVS stores will early activate the sale on the evening before. At my store, roughly 6pm. At other stores? It can be anywhere between 4pm-8pm, just depending on the store. How do you know your store has early activated? You price check an item you know will be in the sale.
5. Be patient and enjoy couponing!
For the last CVS Black Friday shopping tip, it may seem like a small thing but it's definitely still one of the more important things. CVS Black Friday shopping is much more an “extreme couponing” trip than other traditional Black Friday shopping. It’s a great opportunity to stock up on tons of items for a fraction of what you’d normally spend. I like to think of it as equivalent to two months of CVS deal shopping all in one day!
It’s definitely a fun experience, but you’ll want to remember that CVS isn’t big like Walmart or Target. They don’t have the space or staff that a much larger store will have. This means that you’re more likely to run into longer lines, out of stock items and crowded stores. You’ll probably have to wait a little longer at checkout, and it will take you longer to navigate the aisles. If you do run into any delays or difficulties, just remember all of the fantastic deals you’re going to score and smile. :)
Lastly, one of the traditions of CVS Black Friday couponing is seeing the very long receipts. Here's a pic of me last year. See how long you can get your receipt to be from all the Freebies. Take a picture of yourself. I'd love to see it. Either post it on my Facebook Wall, Tag me on Instagram, or Email it to me here. :)

Black Friday Target: 6 Simple Ways to Score Hot Deals (2016 Survival Guide)
Target Black Friday Shopping Tips
In an effort to compete with their Walmart counterpart, Target is increasingly offering fantastic deals and savings on Black Friday each year. Indeed, they’re even opening their stores as early as Walmart is (6pm on Thanksgiving evening as of 2015) and still honoring your extra 5% REDcard savings on Black Friday.
Shopping Black Friday at Target is a little bit different from other national stores like Walmart, though. If you’re planning on shopping at Target this year, make sure you keep these Black Friday Target shopping tips in mind to help make your experience smooth and efficient.
1. Get a RedCard.
This is something you need to do BEFORE Black Friday. Using a REDcard will get you an additional 5% off your total purchase. That’s an extra 5% off almost ANYTHING you pay using the card. It may not seem like much, but if you’re already planning on spending $500 on a new computer or other holiday gift, that’s an immediate savings of $25! You also receive extended return period.
Signing up for a Target REDcard is easy, quick and FREE. You can sign up here.
2. Check out the ad.
Go over the Target Black Friday ad to figure out exactly what you want to buy. Having a specific list will keep you on-task. This is also a good opportunity to check prices against other store’s Black Friday ads to figure out if another store will have a comparable item at a lower price.
You’ll want to use this information to create your shopping list. Make sure you prioritize items based upon the popularity of the store, as well. If another store in your town has an item for $10 less BUT, you know it’s going to be a lot busier and likely to sell out, you’ll want to take that into account when you plan. Some people find it worth while to purchase for a few dollars more at a store they’re already in that has a much higher likelihood of being in-stock.
Keep in mind that Target does not price match on Black Friday. Do not count on that for extra savings when you’re comparing ads and planning your trip.
3. Plan to be there early, and be quick.
For the big ticket items, like the cheap flat screen TVs, Target will have an extremely limited number of them available. Many times, these will be available in quantities of ten or less. Unlike other big name stores, Target doesn’t hand out special wristbands or redemption tickets to the first people in line. This means that if you really want to get your hands on one of the HOT items, you’re going to need to commit to being there early. Really early.
You’re also going to need to commit to being quick on your feet. Just because you’re first in line doesn’t necessarily mean a Speedy Gonzalez won’t come up behind you and zip over to the electronics before you can get there. Be early, be focused, be quick.
If you’re only going for toys or other items that aren’t extremely limited in stock, it’s not as important to be the first person in line. Showing up about an hour early should be enough time to get into your store and get the items you want before they run out of stock.
4. Make friends with a Target employee.
Did you know that Target puts things in non-matching departments each year? By that, I mean that many electronics may be in women’s clothing and large children’s motorized toys will be set up in the seasonal department. It sounds like it doesn’t make sense, but it’s actually a great system that they’ve worked out.
Placing popular items in evenly distributed predetermined locations throughout the store prevents shoppers from having “traffic jams”. Since most of the popular items are toys or electronics, can you imagine how packed those departments would be if all the Black Friday items were placed ONLY at those locations? The smooth flow of traffic contributes to a better overall shopping experience for both employees and customers. My store, for example:
Puts board games in the boys’ clothing department.
Cheap movies get placed in big pallet boxes by greeting cards.
Beats headphones go in the grocery department.
TVs are in the women’s clothing department.
 	Etc.
Your store will likely have a different layout. To find out what it is, make friends with a Target employee to get early word on what the special Black Friday store layout is going to be. If you can’t get any information ahead of time, keep in mind that most Target stores will hand out a Black Friday store layout map while you’re waiting in line before the store opens. You’ll need information on that layout so you can do #5.
5. Map your route
Once you’ve gotten all the insider information on item locations during Black Friday, you can use that to plan your shopping trip. Start at the item you want to get the most, and then work your way through the rest of the store in the most expedient manner possible. Try to keep in mind that there may be some potential for crowds at extremely popular items (like large electronics) and plan to avoid those areas if you don’t intend to purchase anything from there. Target does a pretty good job of keeping crowds down, but it’s better to be prepared just in case.
6. Be nice and have fun!
Target employees work really hard to make sure the store is organized and items are distributed throughout the store for your shopping convenience. They come in on their holiday to help set up and open the store, and work long hours to get you through the checkout process and on to your next destination. Generally speaking, they’re great at their jobs and love to see a friendly face come through their line.
For the final Target Black Friday shopping tip, I leave you with this: in the midst of your deal-hunting rush, don’t forget to be nice, enjoy the experience, and have fun!
Lastly, joining a deal group on Facebook like our Target Deals Facebook Group and Black Friday Group can be a super useful resource.

Kohl’s Black Friday Sale: 6 Genius Shopping Hacks (2016 Survival Guide)
Kohl's Black Friday Shopping Hacks
Kohl’s wants your holiday shopping and they want it bad! They’re going through great lengths to offer fantastic Black Friday deals on everything from toys to home goods to kitchen appliances and more!
Although Kohl’s typically doesn’t have the best Black Friday deals on large electronics, such as televisions and laptops, it can be a GOLD MINE for kitchen appliances (especially KitchenAid mixers) and toys.
Here are some easy tips to get the best Kohls Black Friday sale deals:
1. It’s really a week (or more).
The first thing to know about Kohl’s Black Friday shopping is that it’s actually more like a week’s worth of shopping...or more. Sure, Kohl’s has a Black Friday ad and some great Black Friday deals. However, starting on Black Friday and running all the way through the holidays, Kohl’s offers consistently fantastic promotions, coupon codes, rebates and so much more. You can definitely go into a Kohl’s store near you on Black Friday to get deals. But you’ll save time and just as much (if not MORE) money by shopping online during the first week of promotions. Save your actual Black Friday shopping for stores that you have to go into to get the deals, and enjoy Kohl’s shopping from home.
2. You’re going to want a Kohl’s card.
I am the first person to almost never recommend someone get a credit card, especially a store credit card. Typically, interest rates and fees on these tend to be higher. However, if you can stick to your budget and stay disciplined in paying it off before it has a chance to accrue interest, it’s definitely worth getting a Kohl’s card.
Kohl’s cardholders get exclusive coupons to use, oftentimes 30% off or more. In addition to this, they also score FREE shipping with lower (or no) premium purchase threshold. Knocking 30% off a seasonal sales price and then also saving on the shipping cost can really add up to some intense savings.
3. Understand how to stack coupons.
Did you know you can stack up to FOUR Kohl’s coupon per purchase? That’s an insane amount of savings! You can use:
A storewide coupon (Ie, 30% of your entire purchase)
A department coupon (ie, $10 off $50 home department purchase)
Kohl’s Cash or YestoYou Rewards (up to four of these per purchase)
 	A free shipping code
Dollar-off coupons are deducted before percentage-off coupons. Kohl’s Cash and YestoYou Rewards are taken off after all discounts, like a gift card. If the free shipping code has a threshold (ie, free shipping on your $25 purchase), the threshold must be met after all other coupons have been applied.
Knowing these tips, you can combine coupons with seasonal sale prices to score rock bottom deals.
4. Earn and redeem Kohl’s Cash.
Periodically throughout the holidays, Kohl’s cycles between promotions where you are earning Kohl’s Cash and periods of time when you’re able to redeem Kohl’s Cash. There are even special promotions where you’ll earn a higher amount of Kohl’s Cash than normal! In 2015, Kohl’s ran a holiday promotion where you earn $15 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent (regularly, it’s $10 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent). Kohl’s Cash spends like (you guessed it) CASH at Kohl’s, so earning it to redeem during a later seasonal promotion is a great way to keep your overall out-of-pocket very low.
5. Pay attention to rebates.
Throughout the year but especially during the holidays, Kohl’s offers mail-in-rebates on tons of items. Last year, I scored a Sonicare toothbrush that had a $20 rebate attached. Totally awesome! Rebates stack with coupons and Kohl’s Cash, so it’s yet another way to save big on holiday items.
6. Follow Free Stuff Finder
Shameless plug alert! For the final Kohl's Black Friday shopping tip, make sure you're following Free Stuff Finder. Free Stuff Finder loves finding fantastic Kohl’s deals and sharing them with you guys, especially during the holidays. Our goal is to make every deal breakdown super easy to understand and complete with any relevant links or other needed information. Black Friday Walgreens Shopping: 5 Things You Need To Know (2016 Survival Guide)
Walgreens Black Friday Shopping Tips
Interested in scoring deals at Walgreens on Black Friday? If so, you'll definitely want to check out these Black Friday Walgreens shopping tips. Walgreens, like other drugstores, is not your typical Black Friday shopping experience. While they do offer some deals on toys and other items. the best overall deals will be on items you can coupon for: hair care, medicines, diapers and wipes, etc. While the deals they offer aren't typical holiday gift items, it is a great opportunity to stock up on cheap "regular" purchases. This frees up your budget to spend a bit more on holiday gifts! :)
Here are my favorite Walgreens Black Friday shopping tips:
1. Plan Ahead
Black Friday and Pre-Black Friday ads will be leaked several weeks in advanced and we can view them here. We'll be posting them here when they are out: Walgreens Black Friday ads, hours and info page.
We'll also be posting blog posts highlighting the best deals for Black Friday and Pre-Black Friday sales on the blog. To see the most recent Walgreens deals, go here.
2. Learn How to Coupon at Walgreens
Once you have your Balance Rewards card, you have to know how to use it to your advantage. Balance Rewards is a BIG part of couponing at Walgreens. Keep in mind that couponing at Walgreens is one of the more complicated stores to learn. That’s not to say it isn’t worth trying, though; just allow yourself a little extra time to understand the process. You can learn how to coupon at Walgreens here.
Many of the deals that are available to customers during Black Friday Walgreens shopping will be deals that earn you Balance Rewards Points. These Points are part of the Walgreens Balance Rewards loyalty program and are redeemable for money off future purchases. In order to earn your Points, you have to be a Balance Rewards member. You can sign up here.
3. It’s Actually a 3-day Sale
In an effort to compete with bigger retailers (and to get business when other stores are typically closed), Walgreens is open for longer hours through the Thanksgiving holiday and beyond. As of 2015, they were open from 8 am to 10 pm on Thanksgiving and open regular hours for Black Friday and beyond. For Thanksgiving, Black Friday and the following Saturday, Walgreens is offering their Black Friday deals, as well. I love the flexibility that these added hours give you for shopping, but keep in mind that by Saturday some of the more popular things might be sold out.
4. Stock Up on Gift Wrap
So, you’ll probably want to go to bigger retailers like Target or Walmart to get your actual holiday gifts, but what about the wrapping paper for them? Walgreens is a fantastic place to pick that up. While shopping at Walgreens on Black Friday, don’t pass up the great deals on gift wrap. They usually have these types of things priced very cheaply; in 2015 they even had them on sale Buy 1 Get 2 FREE!
5. Consider Getting the Cheap Electronics
My last tip for successful Walgreens Black Friday shopping is this: don’t pass up the electronics. Young kids break stuff; it’s just a fact of life. Why spend more on nicer earbuds and charging cables when you know they’re just going to get broken or lost in a matter of days/weeks? Walgreens always has cheap Black Friday deals on off-brand electronics that are great for the kiddos. You won’t be kicking yourself when they get lost or broken!

7 Killer Walmart Black Friday Shopping Tips (2016 Survival Guide)
Shopping Tips For Walmart on Black Friday
When it comes to Black Friday, Walmart is definitely the most popular national store to shop at. It’s easy to see why, too. Walmart Black Friday shopping offers deals on electronics, toys, clothing and much more!
The only downside to Black Friday at Walmart is the fact that hundreds (possibly thousands) of other people will be doing the same thing at your Walmart store. This can make navigating the deals and getting everything you want a little bit tricky. The good thing is, there are some easy Walmart Black Friday shopping tips you can learn ahead of time to make the experience smoother.
1. Make your shopping list.
It’s really important to go into the store with an organized list of items you want to purchase. This will allow you to stay on-task and get what you’re actually there for. Go here to preview Black Friday Ads and Deals. I like to organize my list according to where items are in the store, which makes mapping my walk much easier. Which leads me to #2….
2. Map your store.
Before Black Friday, go into the Walmart store you plan to shop in and ask the management for a map of the store. With that map, you can easily plan out a route around the store that takes you to every department you wish to go to in the most expedient manner necessary.
Pro tip: rather than making a route that starts at the door and ends at the register, create a route that starts at the item you want the most, working down in order of importance and most direct route from there.
3. Plan to get there early.
Getting to Walmart early for Black Friday shopping is becoming increasingly difficult because of the fact that Black “Friday” is now more like Black “Thursday Evening.” In fact, they opened doors at 6pm Thanksgiving evening in 2015!
Many people like to (understandably) spend time with their family on the holiday, but if you can adjust your Thanksgiving plans, you’ll still be able to shop and get in great family time. Move your Thanksgiving “dinner” to noon or 1pm rather than 3pm or 4pm, enlist your spouse to help clean up afterwards, go shopping with some cousins that evening, etc. There are plenty of ways to incorporate family time AND great deals!
And it’s really important to get there early, as well. Many times, hot ticket items are only available to the first X amount of people that are in line. In addition to this, Walmart starts giving out special wristbands that allow customers to purchase the most popular and sought-after deals at 5pm that evening, or one hour before the stock opens. Without that wristband, you can’t purchase the items. You WANT to be one of the first people in line so you can get in on tip #4...
4. Take Advantage of the One Hour In-Stock Guarantee
Walmart has revolutionized Black Friday shopping with a pretty great new shopping feature: the One Hour Guarantee. Walmart’s One Hour In-Stock Guarantee means that for the first hour that they are open for Black Friday shopping, select items are guaranteed available for purchase. But, as with most offers, there is some small print involved.
So, let’s break down how the One Hour Guarantee works:
There is a limit of ONE One Hour Guarantee item per person.
You must be in line by 5pm in order to qualify to get the item at the advertised Black Friday price.
You must purchase the item before 7pm.
If the item does sell out, you will be given a special One Hour Guarantee card. This card will be scanned at checkout. You’ll hand the card to your cashier, she’ll scan it, you’ll pay for the item, then be given a receipt with a unique access code on it.
If given a receipt with an access code, follow the instructions included on it to register your access code online within 48 hours and select the store you want your item shipped to.
Your item will be guaranteed available for pickup before Christmas.
5. Comfy Clothes = Happy Shopper
My family has this great tradition where we exchange our first Christmas presents right after Thanksgiving. They’re always fuzzy pajamas, and we always wear them when doing our Black Friday shopping together. It’s not only a fun tradition, but it’s also a great way to stay comfortable and warm during shopping. Paired with a supportive pair of tennis shoes, we make look completely silly but we definitely won’t be uncomfortable!
6. Pack Snacks (Trust Me!)
You’ve stuffed your face at Thanksgiving dinner and don’t think you’ll *ever* be hungry again, right? I mean, what else is there to do on Thanksgiving? ;) Even though you feel like you’re about to burst, make sure you spend five minutes to pack yourself a small snack before leaving for your shopping adventures. Most people choose to shop at multiple stores for several hours starting Thanksgiving evening and going into the night. That turkey and pumpkin pie may fill you up at 2 pm, but if 10 pm rolls around and you’re still not at home, you’ll be grateful for a little pick-me-up.
7. Have fun!
I know this seems like a silly tip, but I wanted to close with this final Walmart Black Friday shopping tip to remind everyone that Black Friday shopping should be hectic, busy, a little bit of crazy and a whole lot of fun. Remember that even if you miss a deal or mess up a transaction, it’s not going to ruin your holiday. You still have loved ones, food on the table and the fun experience of what Black Friday shopping is.

Glitches and pricing errors can be fantastic little “surprise deals” when you’re able to get them from your stores. However, the “when you’re able to get them” is the biggest hurdle to overcome. Luckily, if you live in California (or one of several other states), you have the law on your side!
In this article, I’m going to talk about how pricing error laws work to the benefit of the consumer, and how to use them. I’m going to focus specifically on how this law works in California, but you can check the full list of states to see if yours participates.
When this happens (weather it's a display price tag or ringing up at the price scanner), what I do is take a picture of the signage and show it to cashier at checkout. They will usually bring a manager over to resolve the issue. When they don't, that's when I will recite the CA Pricing Error Law below.
When you see Free Stuff Finder posting deals on pricing errors (such as this KitchenAid deal at Target) we always mention false advertising laws. This is because many states have specific laws that protects consumers from paying a higher price than from what is advertised on the shelf. So, if you see a price tag on the shelf that seems way lower than what it should be, keep in mind that your store may have to honor it or face fines and penalties!
I've never had a store not honor display price errors. One time (Star Wars Dolls ringing up for $0.99 in January 2016) the manager tried to refuse, I simply pulled out the following law and read it to her. She stepped away and allowed me to buy several of the toy. Hope this comes in handy for you. Let me know in the comments below if you know of such a law in other states.
Specifically, California’s Business and Professional Code states this (Also see this code here and additional discussion here):
California B&P Code #12024.2.
(a) It is unlawful for any person, at the time of sale of
a commodity, to do any of the following:
 	(1) Charge an amount greater than the price, or to compute an
amount greater than a true extension of a price per unit, that is
then advertised, posted, marked, displayed, or quoted for that
commodity.
 	(2) Charge an amount greater than the lowest price posted on the
commodity itself or on a shelf tag that corresponds to the commodity,
notwithstanding any limitation of the time period for which the
posted price is in effect.
(b) A violation of this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a
fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25) nor more than one
thousand dollars ($1,000), by imprisonment in the county jail for a
period not exceeding one year, or by both, if the violation is
willful or grossly negligent, or when the overcharge is more than one
dollar ($1).
(c) A violation of this section is an infraction punishable by a
fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100) when the overcharge
is one dollar ($1) or less.
(d) As used in subdivisions (b) and (c), "overcharge" means the
amount by which the charge for a commodity exceeds a price that is
advertised, posted, marked, displayed, or quoted to that consumer for
that commodity at the time of sale.
(e) Except as provided in subdivision (f), for purposes of this
section, when more than one price for the same commodity is
advertised, posted, marked, displayed, or quoted, the person offering
the commodity for sale shall charge the lowest of those prices.
(f) Pricing may be subject to a condition of sale, such as
membership in a retailer-sponsored club, the purchase of a minimum
quantity, or the purchase of multiples of the same item, provided
that the condition is conspicuously posted in the same location as
the price.
This means that if you find a pricing error at your local store in California, they have to give it to you. If they don't, they're breaking the law. Additionally, there are other participating states where you have a good chance of being able to get it at that price, as well. Make sure you check the list of participating states to see if you one of the lucky states included in this!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls (Yummy Recipe!)
Guest Post by: Lorena from Green Healthy Cooking
Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls are the perfect after-school-snack or grab-and-go breakfast for busy mornings. Quick and easy to make and keep for weeks in the freezer.
We have old fashioned rolled oats packed full of fibre. Almond meal and peanut butter for power protein. Hemp seeds because there is no better super food to stock up your iron stores. Cocoa powder, maple syrup and chocolate to make it all into the most delicious energy bites you will have tried in your life.
Energy bites are always a hit as snack but these Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls have won the contest at my home so far. It almost feels like eating dessert when all you do is having a healthy snack. If your kids' schools allow bringing nuts and peanuts this would make a great school snack. If not, it will be an excellent after school snack everybody will love.
If you choose not to dunk them in chocolate you can prepare them in 10 minutes flat. The freezing makes them hold their shape and the chocolate hardens faster to it. You can easily eat them right away though. No freezing needed.
Now let's get right down to the recipe so you can try for yourself:
Makes: approx. 25 balls
 Prep Time: 10 minutes
 Cook Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1.5 cups (150g) old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup (115g) almond meal
1/2 cup (150g) peanut butter
1/4 cup (25g) unsweetened dutch-processed cocoa powder
1/4 cup (40g) hemp seeds
2 Tbsp liquid coconut oil
1/3 cup (70ml) maple syrup
50g 70% dark chocolate (optional)
50g white chocolate (optional)
Instructions
1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and process until a thick dough forms and everything is well combined.
2. Form little balls by squeezing some of the dough between your fingers and then rolling it in between your two palms until you form a ball. If you want to be precise and have them all the same size, use a measuring tablespoon to measure out the amount of dough.
3. Place the balls on a baking paper lined baking sheet and put in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
4. You can now either eat them just like that or you can dunk them in melted chocolate to make them look more fun. For this, melt dark chocolate and/or white chocolate in a double boiler and dunk the freezing cold balls into the chocolate and place back on the lined baking sheet. Once all are finished, place back in the freezer for a couple minutes for the chocolate to harden.
5. They keep well in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for much much longer.

*NEW* CVS Coupon Policy (Changes & Updates)
CVS Shoppers! CVS updated their Official Coupon Policy on August 1st. You can check out their updated policy here to review the new changes, or print out a copy to carry with you. The coupon policy isn't very different from the previous one, but I've outlined some interesting points below:
CVS Policy Guidelines:
CVS reserves the right to process coupons in any order.
Coupons must be used on or before the expiration date
CVS has the right to refuse or limit the use of coupons.
CVS reserves the right to limit the amount of items you can buy.
No more mention of coupons with other store logos
It's general knowledge that CVS will usually refuse any printable coupons with another store logo printed on it. Could this mean that coupons stating "redeemable at Walmart" or "Walgreens" are now accepted?
CVS coupons generally cannot be used on sale, promotional, or clearance items.
Does this mean CVS coupons can not be used on items featured in the weekly ad? Generally is a pretty loose term. My guess is it will it be up to the cashier to refuse or accept the coupon.
Percent-off coupons may be used on non-promo/non-sale items.
This guideline states that percent off coupons may be used on non-sale items, but what about sale items? There doesn't seem to be an exclusion, but a cashier may refuse your percent off coupon on a sale item.
What do you think of these changes? Have you heard anything else about the new policy?

*Update* Target Coupon Policy Change (7/11)
Target Shoppers: Have you seen the latest update to the Target Coupon Policy? Changes were made today! The biggest change is that the policy now explicitly states that overage will not be applicable towards other items in the transaction.
Target's Policy now says:
"We do not give cash back nor do we apply any overages to the remaining items in the transaction if the value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item."
You can go here to see the full Target coupon policy.
We're not sure how soon this will take effect and what it will mean for couponing at Target. Let me know what you find out. What do you think of these changes?
