Thanks for the response Tina…maybe they felt uncomfortable giving it for free lol And I guess I was too embarrassed asking to speak to the manager for a free toothpaste. However it’s not like I went just for toothpaste… I also bought diapers! Lol Did you also feel awkward getting free stuff when you first started couponing? Or at least with cashiers that didn’t want to accept the coupons?

      • 1.1

Hi Ana. Yes, I was very nervous when I first started. Now I’ve learned all the stores’ policies and if a cashier tells me something that I know is not in their policy then I’ll usually speak up. I’m sure you’ll get it figured out with time and practice. 🙂

      Hi Tina 🙂
I’m obsessed your website lol I’m new to couponing so I’ve been trying to do some deals. But every time I go to these stores, the shelves with that product are already empty! I got a few rain checks today so hopefully that works out later…however when I was at cvs this morning, I tried to use the cvs coupon of $2.50 for a 4 oz toothpaste that was 3.00. I also had a save 1.00 that expires today from coupons.com. The lady told me that when she scans one it deletes the other. And I thought we could use a manufacturer coupons combined with a cvs red machine coupon?…I was upset cause I’ve yet to be able to get a free deal on anything! It’s been impossible lol

Hey Ana. Glad you enjoy the site and that you’re learning to coupon. You can stack a manufacturer and CVS coupon. Sometimes cashiers will make up their own rules. 🙁 You can ask to talk to a manager or try another cashier or another store if you have one in your area. Hope that helps. 🙂

      Hi Tina,

Where do I get the (1) $2.50 Colgate Toothpaste CVS Coupon? Is the coupon inside the in- store ad?

Also I’m not sure what (scan CVS Card at CVS Coupon Machine) means?
      Thanks,
      Mai

      • -1.1

Hi Mai. CVS stores have couponing machines inside of them. If you scan your CVS card at these machines then you can get the coupons that they offer. Hope that helps. 🙂

        • Hi Tina

Hello. Ibotta is a cash back app where you can get paid to purchase certain items. It’s a great way to earn a little extra cash. 🙂

      What is a ibotta?

Hello! My name is Billie. Your video was wonderful! How nice! I’m hoping you can or will guide me in getting started couponing. I happened to come across your YouTube video which I thought was great! I’m so so glad you had notes written below. I am a chemotherapy patient so I just need things a bit slower, but the notes were great! Anyways, for reasons you can imagine, I cannot work & my husband really needs me to figure out how to coupon well. I’m feeling overwhelmed with all the places to get coupons, cartwheels, stacking, Ibotta, etc. there seems to be an endless list of ways to do this. Would you help me just get started? My husband & I need help & would be so grateful.
